Skyler-Fel Sheep Farm was founded in 2009 , on 120 acres of highland pasture in Kiambu County. What started as a passion project and childhood dream of raising world-class livestock has grown into one of East Africa's most respected sheep operations.
We believe that farming is a relationship: between the land, the animals, and the people who depend on them. Every decision we make from pasture rotation to breed selection honours that relationship.
Today, we manage over 500 sheep across three certified breeds, supply lamb and wool to customers from Nairobi to Mombasa, and mentor over 40 smallholder farmers annually through our consultancy programme.

We invest in farmers, not just flocks. Education is our biggest crop.
Rotational grazing, composting, and water harvesting at the core.
Employing 28 local staff and sourcing inputs from county suppliers.
We acquire 120 acres in Kiambu and imports the first 30 Dorper .
A Merino flock of 50 ewes is established, opening the wool market and supplying Nairobi textile artisans.
Skyler-Fel becomes one of the first farms in Kiambu to achieve full Kenya Veterinary Board certification.
The farm mentorship programme launches, supporting 12 smallholder farmers in year one.
Quality management systems certified, enabling supply to premium hotels and export clients.
The flock reaches 500 sheep, serving over 200 clients across East Africa.
Over 20 years of sheep husbandry experience. Trained in South Africa and Australia. Passionate about highland breed adaptation.
DVM from University of Nairobi. Specialises in small ruminant health and reproductive management.
BSc Agriculture from Egerton University. Oversees pasture management, irrigation, and daily farm operations.
Every certification represents a commitment to the people and animals who depend on us.
All animals vaccinated, tested, and registered under KVB standards. Full health records available on request.
Kenya Bureau of Standards certified for quality in meat processing and wool grading operations.
Certified by the Supreme Council of Kenya Muslims for all lamb produce and on-farm slaughter.
Quality management systems certified for consistent, traceable, and safe farm produce output.
